Pillo is a little line spirit who lives in the world of books maintaining or imposing order in there. When the Frog Prince loses his golden ball, Pillo is supposed to find him a new one. But the mere thought of it makes him shiver. For the only golden ball, of which he is aware, is in the possession of forty thieves. And these guys are dirty, always in a bad mood, and armed to the teeth! Fortunately, Pillo makes the acquaintance of Jakob, a human child, who is allegedly the biggest coward in the land…
